Off a beaten trail she sways
A hat of sunshine bright
For all an earth she lingers
Under a day star of light
Hop scotch on the river
A stone skips by to see
Blossoming colored wings
The hope of living things
A butterfly born to rise
To chase life’s beautiful cry
Into the greens that breathe
Into the beauty God conceived
It is in this time when we grow
